REACH Compliance Declaration
Revision Date: 23 January 2024
REACH Regulation
REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The REACH Regulation became effective in Europe on July 1st, 2007.
DB Products Limited
DB Products Limited acknowledges being producers of electronic devices and certifies to the best of our knowledge all DB Products Limited product lines do not contain elements of the 1907/2006 declaration concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) and all accompanying Annexes.
Registration
The REACH Regulation has different requirements for "Chemicals and Preparations" and "Articles". All of the products promoted by this website are articles that do not intentionally discharge any substances and are therefore exempt from the obligation to register the substances [Article 7(1)b].
Substance Very High Concern ( SVHC ) in the DB Products article The identification of a substance as a Substance of Very High Concern, and it’s inclusion in the Candidate List creates the duty to communicate the name of the products containing SVHC, and the name of the contained SVHC, to users of the products. It does not impose any restrictions on the use of the products, nor is it a substance ban.
Relevant Article : Article 59 (1, 10) of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH)
Requirement of the registration
The REACH Regulation requires registrants to prepare a registration dossier. This is composed of a technical dossier and, where relevant, a chemical safety report, which summarizes the results of a chemical safety assessment. A chemical safety report is only required if the registrant manufactures or imports a substance in quantities of 1 tonnes or more a year.
DB states that we are using less than 1 ton or less of the SVHC substance in our DB Products Candidate list a year.
Regarding Candidate list ( amended on 23 January 2024 ) to the present and best of our knowledge, and based upon the information available to us from our suppliers, our current articles offered, except those listed below or notified individually from your sales representative, do not contain substances of very high concern (SVHC), as identified in the amended Candidate List, above a limit of 0.1 wt %.
DB Products Containing SVHC ( Candidate list amended on 23 January 2024 :Total: 240 substances )
